SGX is Spartan Race’s official training program that is designed for variable fitness levels and all age groups. It
is grounded in functional bodyweight exercise to improve athleticism, stoke endurance and forge strength and power. The workouts are progressive in intensity and specificity over time.

Spartan SGX is the world’s first group programming specific to obstacle course racing fitness. It is a community-driven, group atmosphere of stamina, strength and power. Engineered for functional bodyweight movements, Spartan SGX programming is distinctively forged on three progressive tenets:

Function - Fundamental movement that focuses on coordination and mobility that form a solid aerobic and anaerobic foundation

Fitness - Interval strength training in conjunction with continued metabolic conditioning compliment more complex and skill based exercises.

Performance - Race day intensity and strength specificity tempered to optimally shape anyone who wants to be Spartan Fit.

We run, jump, climb, push, pull, throw, stretch, breathe and sweat to fuse both stamina, strength and power to achieve goals you never thought possible.
