Functional fitness trains your body to perform daily activities. We want to prep your muscles to be able to do whatever you will ask them to do. Whether this be hiking, lifting boxes, running a 5k with your dog, playing football with your kids/spouse, or anything you ask your body to do, we want you to feel prepared! These workouts will increase aerobic capacity and mental toughness but don’t worry you get to share the suffering with your community here at Forge.

On top of preparing your body for daily functions, we want to be able to empower people and build self-confidence through a variety of movements. These movements include gymnastics, Olympic weight lifting, powerlifting, body weight movements, swimming, running, biking, or anything you can think of.

We use a series of barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, GHD machines, pull-up rigs, ropes, bumper plates, rowers, resistance bikes, Trueform runners, sleds, ab wheels, and the good old outdoors. In our class setting, we will have constantly varying exercises that are comprised of all of the above at a relatively intense pace. Athletes will be pushing themselves hard for the duration of the workout and feel amazing afterward.
